8th Grade Science: Have your presentation ready
Literature test tomorrow! For those of you checking the blog, here are the two essays that will be on the test:
1. How does the narrator feel about her country of birth a the beginning of MK and then at the end? Do her feelings change? If so, in what ways? In an essay, discuss Jean's feelings about China and her relationship to it. Refer to events in the text to support your points
2. In an essay, show how Harry' feelings about his father change as the events of "Pappa's Parrot" unfold. Begin by considering Harry's feelings at the beginning of the story. Then follow Harry as he enters junior high school and deals with his father's illness. Cite examples from each part of the story to illustrate your statements.
Prepare for them tonight so that tomorrow it will be easier for you to gather your thoughts and ideas. You may NOT bring prepared essays to class tomorrow.
